Parents who live in Hope Lights are either already kinship caregivers or are seeking to adopt a child from foster care.
Single and two parent households are expected to adopt or become guardians for two to four children. Reduced housing costs and practical community support helps alleviate some of the challenges associated with raising multiple children.
With the support and resources readily available at Hope Lights, adoptive parents and kinship caregivers are better able to provide permanence, stability, and care to children who otherwise face uncertain futures.
We support guardianship and open adoption as permanency plan options when possible.
