On #GivingTuesday, we mentioned that pre-development activities for the multigenerational community model are heating up. One reason is our recent collaboration with Korean Women’s Association, a highly respected provider of affordable housing, home care, and a variety of human services, as well as Tacoma Housing Authority. Together we’re moving with steady focus to create a community of hope for kids in foster and kinship care as well as their adoptive families and elders.
Many Lights is also pressing forward to create the programs that will benefit those living in the neighborhood and in our community at large. Over the next weeks we’ll be sharing more about the work we’re doing and the impact we’ll have.
Fundraising campaigns like this are necessary for nonprofits including ours. Without the generosity of donors large and small we wouldn’t be able to do what it takes to make a difference in our communities.
You may be getting many requests for donations. My hope is that you will join us in our collaboration to create community and will donate to Many Lights before year’s end.
Your meaningful gifts have the power to change someone’s life for the better.
